Florida Grande is located outside of Webster, FL in Sumter County. It is
approximately one hour west of Orlando and one hour northeast of Tampa.
Yes. All properties have an individual deed.
No. While there is room on each property to have a Grande Suite built, not all
properties have one. It is never a requirement to build a Grande Suite.
Yes. Regardless of the size of the property all concrete pads are 26’ wide and 76’
long. Even the largest motorhomes will fit with ease.
All properties have water, sewer, and 50 amp hookups. Florida Grande does not
have any 30 amp service on the pedestals.
Yes. Each property can have up to 2 well-behaved pets. When outside, any pet must
always be on a leash. The dog park is a wonderful place to let your furry friends run
off leash.
No. Florida Grande is an all-ages community.
All year round the pickleball courts, dog park, pool, spa, fitness center, library, billiards room, craft room are available for owners and guests to enjoy. During the winter months many activities both on site and off site are hosted by the Activities Committee. Regularly occurring activities such as happy hours, line dancing, yoga, pickleball tournaments, bingo, book club, various card games, mah jongg, and trivia are available to just name a few. Special events with entertainers, community dinners, and food trucks are also a frequent occurrence. Our Activities Committee works hard to bring high quality entertainment and activities to the resort.
Note: many special events will require a ticket to be purchased either in advance or at the door.
Florida Grande is in a rural area, but many grocery and dining options are close by.
Convenience shopping such as Dollar General, Ace Hardware, and Family Dollar are 5 minutes away as well as two great breakfast and lunch restaurants. Grocery stores can be found 15 minutes away in Bushnell along with some restaurants and Starbucks.
Three Publix grocery stores are all within 25 minutes with more dining options. Kroger also delivers directly to each property in the resort.

Because each property is deeded, each lot has its own individual address. Mail
from USPS goes to the mail room in the clubhouse. Owners have an individual mailbox. All other delivery services such as UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc. will deliver directly to your lot.
While it is not a requirement to own a motorhome to buy a property in Florida Grande, it is a requirement to have a motorhome on site to occupy a property at the resort.
Yes. Owners have the option to rent their property either on their own or through the resort’s rental pool program.
Yes. Ask Katie about availability to see if the resort can accommodate you and your coach to visit for a few days.
We understand that you may just want to drive around. Nov 1-March 31 the gatehouse is staffed 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (Sundays 11 AM-4:00 PM). The gatehouse will need your information, then issue you a guest pass to drive around. Use the paperwork they give you and/or this website’s information.
